Sostenplas is proud to announce a three-season partnership with Oyonnax Rugby, the club at the heart of France's Plastics Valley.
This is more than a sponsorship. Oyonnax and the Haut-Bugey form the densest concentration of plastics processors in Europe, the very companies working to replace virgin resin with recycled material in demanding parts. Being present there, season after season, means being close to the people who use what we produce.
The Plastics Valley has built its industrial identity over more than a century, and Oyonnax Rugby has always been one of its most visible ambassadors. The club brings together the region's manufacturers around a shared project, which makes it a natural meeting point for the conversations we care about: material substitution, recycled content targets, and the technical realities of working with post-consumer resin.
Sostenplas produces recycled ABS, PS and PP granules with very high PCR content, mainly from waste electrical and electronic equipment. Our compounds are developed to specification and delivered with batch-to-batch consistency, the two things a converter needs before switching a running part over to recycled material.
We are currently building a new industrial site that will widen our range to further resins and to more complex technical compounds, including glass-fibre-filled and flame-retardant formulations. The three seasons of this partnership will accompany that ramp-up, alongside the material substitution projects our customers in the region are taking on.
We believe a company should not simply sell into a region, it should invest in it. By supporting Oyonnax Rugby, we are supporting a community, its clubs, its young players and the industrial fabric that drives it. The same values of discipline, teamwork and sustainability that we live by every day on the plant floor.
